Oh my goodness!!! Do you know when Advent actually started?
Here I was getting so excited to see the lighting of the second candle last week... When I got to church, it was the third candle. *forehead palm*
I knew that earlier in the week too! Just lost track of time with these weeks going by so quickly.
How about you?
Are the weeks going by ever so quickly for you too?
Or not?
Advent started on November 29th this year and ends on December 24th. So this tells me that we are coming into the fourth week as of tomorrow. So now that I am back on track, let's look at where we really are in this season.
This past week, our Advent focus has been on "Love," with the previous two being "Hope" and "Peace."
I have been seeing love around here with so many rallying to help with the after effects of the flood. It makes my heart very happy to see the outpouring of love for, and from, our community.
I am thrilled to see it is not just happening here either. Recently I have been receiving wonderful shares from our Whimsy community about how they have been experiencing this in their own lives.
