A month well known for anticipation and many joyful moments to celebrate!!
To start off with, we have come into the beautiful season of Advent that I love and cherish. The word advent means "coming" as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. It also means "expectation" which I can see as well since there is so much joy, anticipation, expectation and excitement that can be experienced and shared at this time.

Advent as you will find out in the article is a very special time symbolized by four candles which represent hope, love, joy and peace. It is a beautiful tradition that I love. Last Sunday, I have once again been able to watch the lighting of the first Advent candle that represents hope. What a perfect time to be lighting this candle! We truly need this hope in our lives.
This need of hope has been very apparent especially this week for our community, and many others. So much devastation for many, as well as major highway closures. This week though, we are breathing a sigh of relief as the rains have calmed down and clean up has begun. You can feel that wonderful feeling of hope all around as we move into this month of what I see as a month of wonderous delights filled with hope and yes, gratitude as well. May you be filled and
feeling it for yourself!!
Oh!!! We did get a wonderous delight today! We had our first snowfall of the season. What a lovely sight to wake up to this Saturday morning to see it snowing! It didn't last very long but I so enjoyed it. Though brief, what an exciting Christmas type of postcard morning. Not only did I smile, so did my heart! *sighs happily*
