Now that spring is here and summer is just around the corner, what are your plans to get yourself ready?
One thing that comes to my mind is to get moving! This was especially true and very apparent when we went for a long driving trip. Breaks were very needed. To get out of the car and walk was important, which I found out later that I should have done more of it.
What do you do to get yourself moving when going on long drives?
Not only does moving do your body good, it is also great for your mental health. It doesn't matter how you move, what matters is that you move. Start small, such as walking.
Now please don't think, oh my goodness! Walking? How far? How long? Where?
It doesn't matter, just walk. If this is new to you, start small. Slowly build your walking muscles up. Listen to your body and be kind to it. It will tell you what it wants. Your body is wonderful and will appreciate the attention. You don't need to shock yourself into a version of yourself that you haven't been but you can slowly build into it. This goes for anything but for now, let's focus on one small step.
