As we were driving towards our destination, it amazed me how different each area is during this season of spring, and within our driving range too. I just had to share this diversity with you.
Took me a while, along with some challenges, to decide which pictures to share and how I was going to do this. However, I had a lovely time going through all the pictures. I
was able to relive and reminisce, reminding me just how much I enjoyed that break and seeing family. What a blessing this trip was!
It was a time to stop and just be, reflecting and soaking up the love and beauty around me, without being in a hurry. What a long time it had been to be able to do this. Not only was it a great adventure but it also turned out to be a wonderful form of self care and proved to be a much needed mental health holiday break
too.
It gave me the time to breath and be a part of the beauty that surrounded me. A reprieve from that hamster wheel of busyness that I found myself in lately. Confirmation once again, breaks are needed and most definitely good for the mind, body and soul.
Over the last while, we have looked at many ways to take care of ourselves and one of those ways is through self care. Being that we are all unique, we are not a one size fits all type of people and this is also true for self care. How we find these beautiful perfect moments totally depends on each of us and how open
we are to looking for them.
