We are coming to the end of November and soon we will be into December.
This is the season of gratitude filled with celebrations that started with our Canadian Thanksgiving in October, the States Thanksgiving this month, and working our way to all the December festivities. For some, it may be a challenge to feel thankful, but it truly is a beautiful time to refocus our hearts and eyes on every blessing we have in our lives and cherish it with love and gratitude.
For me, over the last while, we have been able to celebrate the birthdays of quite a few family members. One was to finally celebrate a granddaughter's birthday together for the first time. That was a wonderful gift and truly a blessing that I am very grateful to have had and
will cherish.
What moments have you been able to have that have touched your heart deeply that you will cherish?
Our challenge this past month was a wonderful shared reminder to have a heart of gratitude and how much we have to be grateful for. It was also a time to reflect and start writing down what we are grateful for each day. I challenge you now to grab a paper and pen, yes a paper and pen, and write not type, what you are grateful
for.
Don't stop at five but have a goal of at least a hundred moments of gratitude. Look over your life when doing so without censoring. You will be amazed that you will be able to list even
more. Look and appreciate every moment as you list them, no matter how big or small. They are all important and are a part of you. Each needs to be remembered, acknowledged, and appreciated for the gift they are.
