Another month has come and gone, and we are now in December.
Our days are getting shorter, nights are longer, and even though it's not quite winter yet, we are experiencing the cold and snow that is associated with that season. We first experienced it last month when we went to celebrate our granddaughter's birthday weekend. This week, we get to experience it here too.
Now that we are back home, a cozier lifestyle has begun. We are wearing warmer clothes, winter boots, gloves, and scarves but also have extended pajama, robe and slipper days, curling up in warm blankets along with plenty of books and hot ginger tea. Diffusers are also primed with a selection of essential oils to add to the warmth and smell of the
season and a big pot of soup on the stove simmering away. Our decorations have started coming out of storage and the Christmas wreath is ready to go up.
This is also the time for our beautiful Advent season. The first week was celebrated last Sunday. It is a season rich with meaning, purpose and traditions. I invite you to visit this link to learn more about it and possibly find some new traditions to add
to and enrich your Christmas memories:
So, where are
you with this season? How is your lifestyle changing? What are you doing differently? What would you like to do differently? How have your Christmas preparations started? I would love to hear!
This can be a time that becomes quite busy with celebrations throughout this month but find time to snuggle up and relax. I pray that you will allow yourself that quiet reflective feeling this season can bring. May it give you what you need for your best FRESH START for a glorious life ahead...
May you enjoy and cherish each moment with clarity, love, gratitude, joy, and whimsy!
