Here we are with Autumn upon us!
Can you believe it?!!!
Where did the summer go? For that matter, where did September go?
With the colors gloriously changing around us, so do the activities that we have enjoyed during the summer season.
Never fear, rain or shine there is still
so much to experience!
Of course, how comfortable you are and how much you will enjoy, is quite dependent on the weather appropriate clothing that you
wear.
Will you be wearing a heavy coat, a light jacket or a sweater?
What shoes will you be wearing? Sandals, running shoes, boots - hikers or rain?
What other clothing items will be making their appearance in your life? Sweats, longer pants, cozy sweaters, cuddly robes?
Or will you be ignoring the growing cooler temperatures a little while longer by keeping your shorts and t-shirts as your current attire?
As you look ahead, what are you looking forward to with this new season?
Hiking, sewing, biking, cooking, baking, crafting, building, reading, etc?
Are you looking at new ideas? Wanting new experiences?
Is there something you would like to
learn?
What would be a delight for you that will make your heart sing?
What have you noticed about yourself lately?
What are you
starting to do more of?
Dreaming?
With this new
season, I have started to grow my list of what I would like to do:
Learn to play my ukulele
Experiment with different recipes.
Convert recipes to
plant-based and gluten free
Learn more about social media
Course
creation
Get a handle on my time management.
Restructure my night time
routine
Yes, my night time routine has become quite the
issue. Who would have thought with the days getting shorter, that I would be staying up later. Are you experiencing this? It truly is very strange!
What I have already started doing lately though is making more soup. Since I love soup, I have never really stopped, no matter the season. However, I have been
making more lately and have been enjoying a bit more creativity in what I make. This is one area where experimenting with different recipes comes in. Usually, I make the same soups, but as autumn arrives, so does the change in seasonal produce. The soups I am now making reflect this and I am loving it!
For the fun and growth of it, I have also joined the High Five Challenge with Mel Robbins for this week. If you would like to check this out and join me, here is the link
to that:
She also wrote the High Five Habit book,
which she is reading each day for a month on FaceBook. If you have the book or not, here is your chance to have it read to you each day. If you missed the first three days, don't worry, they are available here to catch up on:
So... how about you? What is on your list?
Is there anything on my list that intrigues you? Would you like to check some of them out? Might love to do? Maybe you would even like to join
me?
Until next week...
Have yourself a wonderful week filled with love, health, joy and whimsy!
