Hello !
Can you believe it?!! January has come and gone, and poof!!!
Here we are, with February well underway!! Yowzers!!!
Regardless of how fast it seems, moving into this new year, I have had time to contemplate how I am to approach each day with
intention. One that became very clear and should be easy, is to choose that one thing each day.
There are so many things that come up that seem to demand my attention as well as my interest.
Sometimes it is very hard to separate what is important and what is not.
Creating strategies and habits has become something that I have been exploring and putting into motion
to help me with being able to be more focused and intentional.
Has it been easy? Not really, but I have been doing my best to stick with what I have placed
into motion and am starting to see a change in how I think and do things.
A couple of strategies I have been working with to become habits is in how I start and end my day.
Both times start with just being. Giving myself the time and place of quiet and allowing my thoughts to just flow.
In the morning I let them flow with my notebook and pen in hand to write my thoughts out as they come.
At night, I let my thoughts flow, releasing them in prayer. I have begun to enjoy this time. It has helped me tremendously in how I calmly approach my days to see that one thing that is important to focus on each day.
