It is that time again!
Â
Tonight, Saturday, November 4th, 2023, before you go to bed,
remember to set your clocks back an hour. Â
Â
The nights are becoming longer, and the days
are becoming shorter. Â As they do you may even begin to notice a gentle quietness settling within you. Â You may begin to feel a sense of hibernating like a bear, ready to join the natural flow of this season ahead as it moves toward the winter months. Â For some, this can also be a time for the winter blahs to set in. Â

Or do you feel something completely different from these?
This may also be a time for you to become more aware of how you spend your days and evenings as you get used to this change.
Â
Being ready with some strategies will help you enjoy all this season has to offer as it unfolds. Â
Â
1. Get outside when you can, taking advantage of what daylight you have. Â Dress for the weather. Â This also goes for the right footwear.
2. Connect with family and friends. Â Socializing is very important not only for you but for others as well.
3. Work on jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, and
sudoku.Â
4. Play games such as board games, dominos and card games
5. Learn a new skill.
6. Visit a bookstore or the library and check out the multitude of topics you can read about.
7. Journaling is a wonderful practice to continue through this season.
8. Eat healthy
9. Quality sleep
10. Remember gratitude! Â Be mindful of all that is around you. Â Find and focus no matter how small. Â Acknowledge, be grateful, and say thank
you. Â This also goes for acknowledging others and thanking them.
