Let's move on!!!
The last few Whimsies have highlighted how profound stress can affect so many areas of our lives.
As we looked into these areas, we found how interconnected the mind and body are. We also explored helpful strategies to reduce and possibly eliminate some of the effects that stress has.
Let's look into supporting ourselves through nutrition. This can help hugely and be fun while doing so. There are a few key points to be aware of. All require being committed and intentional.
In future Whimsies, we will look more into these key points but first, there are some what I consider non-foods that we do consume that are best to
avoid.
Here are the top three contenders of what to avoid:
Drinks that are high in sugar
Highly processed
foods
Artificial trans fats
Removing these will help in a big way to help you support your mind/body connection and lifestyle to be healthier and happier.
This week, if you are open, look in your fridge and pantry. Take note of what you have. No need to toss anything out but maybe from this point on, focus on not buying these items or at least start reducing your consumption of them.
