Summer is in full swing!
Can you hear the great outdoors calling?!
Spending time outdoors isn’t just about
having fun, it is also a fabulous bonus for your physical and mental well-being. It is perfect for your cardiovascular (circulatory system) health by reducing stress and lifting your mood.
Being in nature helps you disconnect from your busy life and connect with the beautiful world outside, even for a
little while.
Are you someone who loves the excitement of new adventures or the peace and tranquillity of nature?
Well, the summer season has something for everyone. With its longer and warmer days, it's a perfect time to go outside and soak up the sunshine.
Summer is for exploring, relaxing and making those beautiful memorable memories. Soak up the season to the fullest!
Do something you love! Try something new too!
Something to remember though, when outside and enjoying whatever activities you have chosen to do, it is important to stay safe and prepared.
Here are four tips to consider:
1. Drink Water Be sure to carry plenty of water with you. This is very important, especially during the hot
summer days.
2. Sun Protection Have sunscreen on hand along with sunglasses and a hat.
3. Proper Gear This is important too, whether walking, hiking, biking, or water sports. Make sure you have what you need. 4. Respect Nature Remember the “Leave No Trace” principle take out what you brought in. Respect the
wildlife and the natural surroundings.
