Hello, !
Increasing your physical activity increases your energy!
Someone shared with me about feeling sluggish and low on energy. There are many reasons one can feel this way. There are some areas to look into and consider. Such areas are lifestyle, poor diet, dehydration, lack of sleep and high stress. These can
contribute to feelings of fatigue and low energy. It is important to look at each. Consider which may need to be given attention to.
For today, let's focus on lifestyle and moving your beautiful body!! It is amazing how important physical activity is to your body. Without enough
your muscles can weaken, your circulation can slow down, and your overall stamina can decrease. This creates a vicious cycle. The less you move, the more tired you feel, the less you want to move, and on it goes. Bringing more physical activity into your daily routine can break this cycle, boost your energy levels, improve your overall well-being and lead you to a more vibrant active lifestyle.
Introducing morning stretches and intentional movement with your household chores, you may have noticed an energy increase. I would love to hear about it!!
Here are five more ideas to consider adding to your growing active lifestyle:
1. Brisk Walking
A brisk 10-15 minute walk can raise your heart rate, increase oxygen flow to your muscles, and help you feel more awake and alert.
How do you think regular walking will impact your energy levels over time?
Where can you fit a brisk walk into your daily schedule?
2. Dance
Breaks
What is your favorite music to dance to? This can give your mood and energy a wonderful quick boost. So take a 5-minute dance break. Have fun getting your blood pumping and shake off any sluggishness you may have.

3. Outdoor
Activities
Spending time outdoors and happily occupying yourself in activities like gardening, hiking, and, as always, a walk in nature can recharge your mind and body.

activities do you enjoy the most?

4. Quick Workout Videos
Check out the short YouTube workout videos. There are many available for all fitness levels. Enjoy a 10-15 minute workout. These can make a big difference and boost your energy and mood. Plus the joy of an accomplishment once you have done so.

5. Social Physical Activities
Sharing with others in becoming more active can be fun and motivating. Consider playing a sport or going for a group walk. This way not only will you be accountable to each other but you can be cheerleaders for each other as well.
What social activities can you start including in your routine to stay active?
Who can you invite to join you in physical
activities?
Consider adding one or more of these to your daily/weekly routine. Make small, consistent changes. Don’t overthink or overwhelm yourself. Pay attention to how your body feels with each activity you
choose. What resonates with you and your body? What doesn’t?
Don’t be discouraged if you can’t do a lot, every step counts no matter how small. What is important is to keep moving and know these are still forward-moving changes. Your body and your life depend on you! Celebrate
each moment you are investing in yourself to stay active.
I would love to hear from you!! Share your experiences and ask any questions you may have.
