Hello !
Have you noticed how a cluttered space creates a cluttered mind?
Our homes are filled with wonderful items that do hold or have held a special meaning. As they accumulate, this can create an overwhelming sense of mental “noise.” Decluttering helps
you let go of those things you no longer need, making space for what truly matters.
There is good news in doing so. Decluttering does not have to be an all-or-nothing task.
Remember the small-steps approach with all that you are now doing? It even works with decluttering. Small steps toward clearing out can feel incredibly freeing.
Here are five questions for you to consider and help you get
started:
1. How often do you declutter? What effect does it have on your mood?
2. Which area in your
home feels the most cluttered?
2. How does that space make you feel when you enter it?
4. What one item
could you let go of that would instantly bring relief?
5. Can you spend just 10 minutes today clearing out a small area? Here is a possible starting point: Pick a drawer, a shelf, or a corner.
As you consider those questions, journal and document your journey of decluttering. You may be amazed at what you come up with when writing down your thoughts as you explore and reflect on them.
I would love
to know your thoughts as you consider those questions and what one small decluttering step you have chosen to make.
