Lighting is a powerful and underestimated tool! It creates a specific mood in your home. It is a natural mood booster! It is also an important element for a healthy home environment.
The lighting choice for your home impacts your emotions and energy levels more than you may realize. Bright and natural light can energize you. Soft and warm lighting invites relaxation and slowing down. Adjusting the lighting in your home can be a simple and transformative way to make each space more inviting and functional.
Maximize natural light to help your circadian rhythm, improve mood, and create a brighter and more inviting atmosphere. When possible, design your space to allow as much natural light as you can. Open up your blinds or curtains during the day. Use light-colored paint on the walls to reflect that light.
Place mirrors in areas where they will help to bounce the light around the room. Small adjustments can bring a surprising sense of harmony and well-being.
